So they should message the users at the end of 2019/2022 with something like that?

"Dear customer, remember Windows 10 which was released back in 2015? You could have gotten it for free the first year! But not anymore... haha!"

Well maybe not like that... But I wouldn't mind some sort of a reminder at that point. Right now calling it important or even recommended though is a joke, an insult even. You simply don't mark important or recommended something that's 100% an ad. Ads in general aren't important or recommended, even if the product is free in some sense.
