Has it? I think Tales of as a brand is still more popular imo, P4 did great though.

This game will put it over, for me anyways in terms of popularity.

While I do understand your point of view. There are far more Tales titles and they sell more consistently than Persona, but Persona 3+FES and P4 and P4G have done numbers similar to the best selling Tales games of years ago. I think it's safe to say that the series is more popular now (and I think Persona 5 will certainly confirm/deny that).
