Why do Zelda Console games take 5 years to develop.... ?

Games being more complex and bigger in HD development era and especially with Nintendo takes time with their big games (especially Zelda games), I am totally ok to have one completely new Zelda and one remake per console per generation.
Like we will have this gen, WW HD and Zelda U.
