Depends on how far north you live, the further north you are, the more you will notice that the earth rotates and the sun is always up in line at the same position. Basically Sunlight day and night.. during Winter when the sun is further away, it's dark night and day. The closer to the center of the earth you are, the more of the illusion that the Sun goes up and down. I really hated being that far north during my military service, sleepy day and night in the winter and sleepless during day and night in the summer. i got a tan faster then i would if i had BBQued myself in a sunbed even as painful something my skin ain't used to
