Yes, EA did some strange decisions. But there where Ubi, Activision, okaish to actually good ports. People just did not buy them. |
No third party selling except all the ones that did.
A game doesn't have to remain in the top 20 weekly best sellers of e-shop in order to sell well.
ubi and activision half assed efforts still sold well for what they were (no marketing, inexcusable delays...) and the installed base at the time (wich more than doubled since them yet they don't release more games). oh, people did buy them as well as other third party offerings (wich sold better). It's just hard to buy more when there isn't more.
