You mean Nintendo's lack of professionalism, right? Edit: Alt account, oh well... nice try, lol. |
Is it professional to delay a launch title exclusive platformer for a WHOLE YEAR, or promise at E3 full support for a console, and then shiv that fucking console in the spinal column with Mass Effect 3 (giving a bundle of all 3 titles to the other competitor consoles)?
Is it professional to willingly gut your own consoles chances at success, at the beck and whim of Western 3rd Parties, who ALMOST CERTAINLY convinced Microsoft to implement anti-consumer measures in their product?
If you think Nintendo's treatment of 3rd Parties, and further more their current trajectory of selling plastic toys and theme park rides, was the worst they could've done, YOU ARE COMPLETELY BLIND.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
