Man has an innate need for religion to sate his ego, his desire to be loved among all things created. The real world has proven this ideal to be a fallacy. So many before us have died on this planet with no protector and there with be no protector for us for as far as facts have shown we only have one another. Our emotions are our biggest weakness as well as a balance to our intellectual progress. Religion causes intellectual progress to stagger though, which is why you will find the countries with the most religion are falling behind in educational competitiveness.
