Why is Nintendo Wii dominating Sony PS3 and Microsoft 360?

- Wiimote special control
- OFFLINE party games allowing you to play with ur familly and ur girl friend (Wiisport)
- Ninty games appealing to Ninty fans (SMG)
- special games like Wiifit that can create "hype" like iphone/ipod and appeal to non-gamer

NOTE: funny to see the best selling console (Wii) is not able to inhibit PS3/Xbox360 sales when the PSX shutdowned the Saturn/N64 sales and the PS2 killed the GC/Xbox sales : it is selling to people that are not interest by the "classic" saloon console that, usually, appeal to male teenagers.

So, when 360 basically stopped selling right after E3 06 or PS3 selling at much lower rate than its predecessor, it's suddenly because of what? People getting bored in gaming (which would prove Nintendos strategy correct, since the previous market wouldn't exist anymore)? People don't want HD consoles because they don't own HDTV sets (again Nintendos strategy would be correct)? I really can't see how Wii wouldn't have killed the sales of the others, especially when competition isn't selling anywhere close to expectations and how Wii wouldn't have affected to slow sales, unless the market really crashed.
