Given how DLC is going, this is going to be one of the last times I ever reserve a game. I'm never going to jump through hoops to get multiple stores DLC again. The last game that did this was MK9. I hadn't had a best buy store within reasonable distance when I had 2 gamestops around the corners from my house. Literally, there was one a quick 2-minute drive to the east, and west. There was no way I was going out of my way to get to best buy which was 15 minutes for a simple DLC costume.
I wouldn't get the komplete edition until it went on sale for 5 bucks on PSN..... last week.... after MKX had been out for some time...
It just hit me that both times, it's warner bros making me go through this... Anyway... Batman, the serious edition is 20 dollars off. I reserved it. I'm not waiting a year to save 30 dollars and have everything intact, when I can have 20 dollars off now. That's just illogical. However, yet again, the store I don't want to buy from has the DLC.
So, I was wondering if I could trade in my unopened to gamestop to get that DLC too? Or, do they have some stupid policy where you have to open the game before you trade it? Because I seem to remember someone at gamestop telling me, or someone that before trading in a new, unopened copy.
Luckily for me, somehow my friends (or friends of friends) ended up taking all the positions at my local gamestop, lol. But, I'm not in the mood to get on the phone right now and ask, so I figured I'd ask the question here and hope someone would have an answer.
Hope Konami isn't doing this with MGSV 2.0.
