I'm talking about solid evidence. You said that everyone expected it to bomb like W101 but, while I don't expect it, I also didn't saw any indication that it did sold well/bad.
About the OP, no. TF had a lot of mass appeal, something that Splatoon doesn't. If TF was multiplat I think it would have been as big as Destiny.
