When you think about it, we know metroid is coming, it just hasnt been anounced yet. This could be the year. :p 

Just inmagine that they anounce it for this holliday. Starfox, then a couple of months metroid, then finally early 2016 zelda. Instant E3 domintion. Phil and kaz would go on stage and bow to reggie.

Might be crazzy. But a man can dream.

I feel that is coming too...And I would consider it a system seller(At least for the usa),it has an audience that most of them still hasn't bought a wii u and they are waiting for that to buy it and  to enjoy also the other great games it has!I know it didn't perfom well on wii given its installbase,but I think that the audience of it, is moderately stable,i.e 1.5m-3m it doesn't fluctuate depending upon the size of installbase but upon the interest that it gathers and now it's different,with it's long absence has created super hype!
