That is what I was telling that, while bloodborne is a briliant game, anyone could say that is just another soul game, the same happens with mario.

But the thing is, the differences between Mario world - Mario 64 - Mario Galaxy -Mario 3D world are bigger than the differences bettween souls games.


To each his own. I see all mario games same as its predecessors. No difference. While I loved playing mariokart wii; when I picked Wii U version at my friends house I saw no difference (except graphics). Bloodborne plays very differently. Its not souls game expansion.

 

And another thing is; making good and critically acclaimed games isnt enough in this age. You gotta sell them. And you need to sell systems. Unless you sell them you dont get money. And if you dont get money you wont be making thsoe quality games in "future" anymore.

Mario games have pretty good sales. Considering the low install base. Its just that those are the only games that sell a lot.
