A Microsoft turn around? The importance of games in gaming.

You don't buy a console at the beginning of the generation just for the games out then, you buy it for what the console will be by the end of the generation.

This has always felt like a bit of a misnomer. Pound for pound the Xbox 360 had a tonne of amazing games, able to compete with just about any system, ever.

It was still releasing great games up until last year.

Later end of the 7 gen (2011) I switched from 360 over to PS3 and the library compared to 360 was far superior in ever sense possible. Could you point me to what games i missed on 360 in terms of "pound for pound" exclusives? when i was playing games like The last of US, Starhawk, Puppeteer, Beyond, GT6, Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, Infamous 2, Journey, Little big planet 2, little big planet karting, MAG, Resistance 3, Sly 4, Ni No Kuni, GoW:A, Twisted Metal.... and these are AAA games I bought and also titles mentioned are all of post 2011.

so I would love to understand what i missed on 360 since 2011?? besides Gears, Halo and Forza
