you ignored the rest of what i said but ill reiterate, PS3 and even these current gen systems got a bunch of late ports and they did decent to really freaking good. I mean GTA4 on PS4 alone smash sales of probably at least most of the multiplats on WIi U alone. Last of Us, Bioshock 1 for PS3, Mass Effect 2, Rayman Legends for PS4

So no the late port is no longer a viable excuse.

But those late ports didn't have missing stuff like DLC and they were the best versions with great optomizations and even some exclusive dlc where as on the wiiU... Hey look, bad performance on various titles and missing dlc on various titles
