I don't really consider myself a Nintendo fan, but I am going on a second straight generation as a Nintendo only owner so I guess I count anyway.
The way I see it I don't spend any time worrying about who published what game, I don't care if it's 1st, 2nd or 3rd party, I buy the games that I think will appeal to me and I don't buy games that don't appeal to me. Sometimes there are games that I would have bought if they were available, but most of the time it's a game that I have no interest in. I spend a total of 0 seconds worrying about it. If Project Cars comes out for the Wii U I will buy it, if not I won't. If GTA becomes a Wii U exclusive I won't buy it. When Don't starve comes, I will get it. Just like I will buy Splatoon and would buy another Lego City game if one was made. I won't buy Mario Party 10 nor will I buy any new Assassins Creed games after I tried to support that series early on in the Wii U's life. To me, the 'assins Creed' part of the name is superfluous and I have no interest.
What I wouldn't mind seeing though would be big publishers bringing over smaller games that are less of a financial risk. Stuff like Child of Light and other projects that are closer to the experiences I look for in video games. As it stands though, the Wii U is probably the second best video game system ever for me personally and only set to get better. I have no need for more 'big' games.
