What they do from time to time is this:
We will support you. Ah well fuck you here some subpar shit. No DLC, lacking modes etc. Or lets just delay the finished game. Etc.
Or lets just sell every second game in the franchise on your system and not the others.
I also dont see Nintendo complaining about its userbase or insulting them.
I also rarely see a Nintendo game that disappoints or two in a row that do.

I also dont see Nintendo air multiplatform commercials and purposely sabotaging the Nintendo versions because the only versions that are NOT listed/shown in the commercial are Nintendo versions.
