Regarding Project Cars, I think he's absolutely on point. It's alright to be upset that the title may not be released on Wii U, especially if one backed the project. However, at the same time, if they can't optimize the title to fulfill their vision, what's the point of releasing it? The team is clearly not satisfied with some broken down port to release simply to make a quick buck. It's not spite for the system but rather passion to make a quality title.

It seems like a lose-lose situation. Release it in that state and be criticized or don't release it and be criticized because the hardware didn't meet the developers vision. Obviously, the studio should do something to give back to those supporters of that specific version if the title isn't released. This developer doesn't seem the type that is trying to be malicious towards the consumer. Quite the opposite it seems.
