I looked it up. BlackBerry is worth about 6.8 Billion, so 7 is a good deal if you are looking at valuation. In contrast at the start of 2011 they were worth about 35.5 Billion - about the same as Sony's valuation today. So they have really lost value.
But I have no idea what they have that would be worth that much. Maybe patents and such? BlackBerry did some things very well in 2005, but they aren't really relevant now. They had a nice level of security - that government liked for their workers. But now, I don't really see why they would want it.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned. Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon! |
