The other is phoniex mode, which is again an easier option for those that suck at the game. It doesn't have anything to do with Us, or players that actually going in for well.... a strategy game

 
since we can use our wepons forever, the game is indeed easier.

It doesn't make it that much easier, also we dont know fully yet because of what the content is in the game.

What i mean is since We dont need to rebuy all these weapons over and over, there is a huge chance we'll see limited amount of a certain weapon (example only 3 Killing Edges can be obtained) or a much steeper price for each weapon (ex: Lets say Killing Lance was about 1500 gold in previous games, this game it might be 6000-8000 gold)

Even if it were to remain the same pay and have alot of a weapon inthe game, it doesn't make things that much easier, again just less annoying!
