It's not that third party games don't sell, it's that Nintendo titles sell better

 


   The red, makes the blue irrelevant. Third parties dont give a rats arse about how a game they DIDNT make sells. They care about how THEIR game sells. So if their games are selling, the fact that Nintendo is selling more is irrelevant and means nothing to them.

They dont care how big of the slice of the pie they get, so long as the number of units sold is high. If all they cared about was the percentage of the pie they owned and not the overall sales, they would all be developing for the PSP and not the DS. But it doesnt work that way, because owning 2% of the pie is better than owning 30% if that 2% = 2 million sold and that 30% = 300k sold.
