Splatoon will sell 500k within its first week. The preorders and digital will do that.
There are other threads which are 1 Mio. in one month. I'm also sure about that. I would go so far and say that it is possible to get near 2 Mio. within 1 month..
Nintendo UK does a marketing campaign like for Mario Kart 8 as they see and believe and Splatoons potential too.
I'm confident that we'll get the success numbers from Nintendo very soon
