Sigh.. look at any entry for a handheld on Wikipedia, every single one of them refers to them as "handheld game consoles". Yes, they 'are' consoles.
Regardless, I'd have to say 3DS is my favorite so far this gen. Spent the most amount of time playing it, and have the largest library of games so far on it. Wii U & Xbox One might surpass it eventually as more games come out though.
