There's actually one (1) single Aussie living in my municipality, his name is Logan and he works with refugees, my big sister is his boss. 
He's a very nice guy, probably the most caring idividual in the county by my appraisal, don't know if that's an Aussie trait (but I think it could be) though or just him as a person.
Also; its funny to hear my dialect with an Australian accent! He speaks it quite well for having lived here only one year or so.
