Marvel Boy From the original run of The New Warriors (1990). That comic started up about the time I had money to spend on comics and I got in on the ground floor with that team. Overall the series was kind of weak but Vance stood out. He'd occasionally push himself hard enough that it made his brain bleed. I always liked the idea of pushing your limits beyond what is probably good for you, so likely that is one of the reasons why this character resonated with me.

Justice? Cool choice. It's a shame he's actually in a sense gone backwards in recent years. I mean, he was a New Warrior for ages and then got promoted to an Avengers, yet because it's Marvel and they seem to hate progression, he's just seen as a New Warrior now, instead of an all powerful telekinetic for the Avengers.
