Marvel Boy From the original run of The New Warriors (1990). That comic started up about the time I had money to spend on comics and I got in on the ground floor with that team. Overall the series was kind of weak but Vance stood out. He'd occasionally push himself hard enough that it made his brain bleed. I always liked the idea of pushing your limits beyond what is probably good for you, so likely that is one of the reasons why this character resonated with me.
