I just know what I saw in the movie, which was a great movie, with a great protagonist(s) but with some details that just not felt right. I sure did not see anything freaking strange when I saw for example Still Alice, an also very strong woman who struggles to keep her sense of self while trying to still keep her carreer that she loved so much, and a husband that does some mistakes because he isn't the PERSON who is afflicted with her illness. Or did I have any problem with a girl that just went through hell and becomes a super fighter in Tomb Raider because she does what she can to survive. Sincerely I may be wrong with the Mad Max movie, but any chance to talk about men's role in society and men's right is a good chance among all the noise feminists do. |
While I will argue that film was not feminist but an original vision that George Miller had way back in the day when the film was originally planned. To me this movie had no feminist qualities but simply more or less slavery. The women were commodities to work against there will to bear Immortam Joe's babies. Hence being slaves of a "work force" and his own personal brothel. All they did was liberate themselves, when the blacks did this centuries ago people acted in the same manner as you are now.
I hold a very strong stance in equalism. I do not see one gender being better than the other. This goes for all race, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. Women deserve to be equal, but do not deserve to see themselves above men. They've been low for so long the playing field need to be leveled. Even more so in today's economy where a man/husband can hardly afford to support a family. Everyone needs to work equally towards a common goal. The balance of nature is incredibly important and women have the potential of being just as strong and smart as men. You should take a look at George Luca's daughter Amanda Luca's who would wreck your ass in combat. Everyone has their potential, strength and weakness. Neither sex is exempt for the nature of that rule. All things should be equal, weather it's work, pay, social status and what not. Many guys revere women for the change to get in their pants.
People need to take a step back and look at the huge global picture of the world. No of the universe and things become much more clear. There are so many problems with todays society and from wide view of these issues and deep understanding of the nature of our own existence this whole feminism debate is a joke. It is baffling that it requires a greater intelligence to understand something that is easier than basic math because of the programming of our social status in society. From a political point of view this issue is silly and many men are scared of losing their upper status and be leveled on an equal scale. For the sakes of the entire human race it is required that we break down these barriers to progress at a greater rate. You are no more worthy to live on this planet than a bum on the side of a street, or the bug you may have stepped on in the recent past. All life is equal and serves a purpose in this world and the realities we live in. We may have a hard time to comprehend these realities simply because of how we view ourselves above all others and the workings of our own intelligence and programming but that is how things are in this very reality that we live in and share together.
