Would a Sony fan really admit it if the conference were boring? I guess the same can be said for all fanbases...but as a Nintendo fan I've certainly seen some terrible Nintendo shows. WiiMusic year was so very bad. I honestly haven't been entertained by a Sony conference in quite a while, except the PS3 reveal...that year was great, but for all the wrong reasons. If the show is laid out like this article suggests, and for the reason it suggests (contractual obligations) then I do expect it to be a yawnfest. How could it not be? But I'm pretty sure Sony will mix it up with some flash and bang and studious like Media Molecule will give the thing some needed zest.
