From a sales point of view, Zelda U can sell well on the Wii U and porting it exclusively to the NX would serve to anger millions of fans. That said, I think there is a chance that Zelda U could be like Twilight Princess and be a cross-platform release. I think it would be a shameless and dishonest move by Nintendo, especially if the Wii U ends up getting a gimped version of the game. There is no way to know for sure, but I do think Wii U owners can rest comfortable knowing that they will get Zelda U in some form. Hopefully it's a dedicated release before the NX comes out. |
Yeah, see the thing is, I feel like if it released on both Wii U and NX, I'd almost have to buy it for NX. I say that because in my mind, the NX version would almost certainly be better, either visually or because of some added features. I mean, I know that people have strong opinions about this, but I actually think TP was way better on Wii than on GCN. I think it would be similar for this new Zelda. So for someone like me, I would have played 0 Zeldas on the Wii U, which is why I'm saying it would be a disappointment.
