But one has to assume this will be only done in extreme cases when a harsh punishment should be dealt. I'm glad those leakers got their consoles bricked. Breaking an NDA is not only illegal, but also unethical. They can't leave stuff up to surprise, noo... they have to leak stuff so people over-analyze it and downplay it to death. This is MS taking justice in their own hands. If they find a legal problem with this, as they should, they should take legal actions instead. As far as my morals go, no company should have the possibility to ruin the products they've sold without proper legal support. Terminating service contracts (e.g. Xbox Live) is entirely different though.
