The PS4 killed it in Q1, selling 31.8% more units for the quarter. That means the PS4 had a much, much bigger drop from March, at least 45%, and it's going to be down at least 6.5% from last April. The XBO dropped only 20.4% from March, compared to a 63% drop from March to April last year. I guess the price cut has had some residual effects. Well, I think this means we can expect a price cut announcement at E3 for the PS4. |
Surprising that Walmat, Best Buy and Gamestop all had PS4 ahead. Though do they do monthly chart or is it daily/hourly only? Amazon ended up being very 50/50 with 2 XB one skus very close to PS4, and no hardware in the top 40. If you went by Amazon you'd probably say Xb one was slightly preferred as the April winner.
