The thing is though, something like this is not going to be as fast as a PS4 or XB1... even if it first launches in 2017.

 

PS4 & Xbox One can use like 110watts when their playing.

I have a really hard time imagineing anything you can carry around being able to use that much power.

A year or two longer wont just magically make something that today uses 110watts next year use 30watts.

 

The good news is Wii U is made on 40nm chips.

At 14nm with FinFETs, the power consumption should be like half or less than the Wii U's.

 

I can imagine a handheld consol in 2017 that is about as powerfull as the Wii U.
