It explains why he became a wanderer with something of a death wish but it's far from necessary or original. I mean, do we really need to see Bruce Wayne lose his parents to watch him fight bad guys? Kind of like that. He's a drifter character who stumbles his way into an entirely new conflict with each film. |
Awesome! My dad was always a big fan of the series, but I was always too scared when seeing the little boy (almost?) get sucked into quicksand when I was no more than 10. Now that I'm cool with death of children in entertainment, I should be okay.
