I feel downvotes negate someone wanting to speak their opinion and upvotes more or less feed into a circle jerk, ideally it'd be great to just have the upvotes but really it would be better without either, nothing will be lost from removing both anyway.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
