Amazon and Nintendo are not "best buddies" so to say...
But anyway - good sign. Splatoon is going to sell HUGE. A million within one month - no doubts about that.
In the long run I expect a similar or better attach rate then Mario Kart - which is at this time above 50%.
Nintendo makes Wii U Splatoon bundles - something very unusual for a new IP.
Also Splatoon will have very very long legs - it will reach its full sales potential in August when team building comes via a free update.
The outlook for Splatoon is very very promising - I've never seen so different communities like the Smash and Zelda one hyping the same game.
And after playing the global testfire for 3 to short hours - I can say that Splatoon simply deserves it.
Its a fresh take on the Shooter genre with deep mechanics, offering a variety of strategies and presented in a way only Nintendo can do.
