What do the recent Konami rumors mean for future Virtual Console support?

I think with a case like PT, we really see the issues of Digital Distribution. We also saw somewhat similar things happen with GTA San Andreas where the license for the music have ended (I believe) and an "update" patch came out removing quite a few of the licensed music.

So it is a shame but yea, what can ya do? I guess if those games do get removed, your only real way is piracy which is lame and I really hope Konami understands that because VC is easy money and if Konami takes it down, then they won't be getting the money but people will still be playing the games via emulators
