The NES. Except I wouldn't have called myself a Nintendo fan back then. For most kids who were too young to remember Atari, Nintendo is all there was and for parents who bought their kids this stuff, everything was a Nintendo to them. In fact, up until I got a Sega Genesis, we really didn't call video games video games. When our parents asked us what we were doing, we said we were playing Nintendo. Unless it was Game Boy. Then we were playing Game Boy. No brand since then has had a reputation to the point where it almost becomes the name of the hobby.
