Does anyone here play MH4U and if so do you recommend it?
Yes and yes.
I played Monster Hunter Tri to death on the Wii and absolutely loved it
Then definitely yes?
Does the newest model get a graphical advantage?
Yes. Higher quality textures and shadows. The difference is not huge though.
On a side note does anyone have concrete evidence that this will be released for console in the future?
There is no indication that the game will be released on another console (I'm guessing you have Wii U in mind). It is possible though, I would at least wait until after E3 to be safe. Capcom seems to like having a major Monster Hunter release each year in Japan, and nothing has yet been announced for 2015.
