I'm talking about the post launch content, the extra maps, weapons, gear, new game modes and rule sets for splat zones.

None of those things was presented before, just a weapon and maybe some map in some ad, everything else are news from the last direct. We knew nothing about tower control and rainmaker until the direct, and nothing about the competitive matchmaking options, those are news to us, not promised content that is not going to be at launch, no. Everything that was promised is IN the game, but now we know there´s even more coming very very soon for free, it´s actually a plus.
