Because is not all about the content, it´s about the quality of the content. 7 hours of pure fresh top notch fun are better than 75 "ok" hours, much more if we talk about new good ideas and innovations. That´s why short games like Captain Toad and Portal can have an 81 and a 90. People are thinking like a machine here, they are comparing the content of any generic shooter without thinking this is actually something more, Captain Toad is a good way to see why you shouldn´t be so worried about this, only the single campaign of splatoon is probably as long and fresh as the 3 books in that game.
