More like its too early to show any content. Nintendo does things at their own pace.

Nintendo is no stranger to pissing off gamers (E3 2009 for example). They will show mobile games when they feel they are good and ready.

That may be the case, although Iwata did say that he recogizes that E3 is for dedicated gaming systems, so I am willing to believe him on that. Besides, I don't recall them doing anything similar to the vitality sensor after they revealed that, and they themselves realized that didn't fit in with E3 either. I feel they'll have a seperate event to talk about their smartphone games, but not at events like E3.
