I think it really depends on the experience they're delivering, I don't think any game benefits from being in development for more then 5 years. If the game is so ambitions that such a dev cycle would be the only alternative I'd argue it should infact have the work broken up by various studios, but it means they need to allow a large quality assessment period which is where I think Ubi falls down... They're too set on annual franchises and AAA holiday releases.
