Unluky, but can happen. Also, why you think 45m is the maximum of what XBOX can sell in the US?

It can even sell 60m for what i think. SUPER unlucky, i know, but can happen.

the ps2 was an anomaly same as Wii.  ps1 sold 100m.  ps4 is also bound to sell 100m.  ps3 is the only one that sold below expectations but if you look carefully for all the obstacles that ps3 went through such as price launch($600), 1 year later than xbox(europe was 1 year and a half later), arrogance from the CEO, no games and still manage to sell over 80m, you can tell that it's almost impossible for a ps console to sell 45m.  heck the avarage for all ps consoles will be over 100m  when everything is said and done with the ps4.  I don't know why you see ps4 at 90m when ps3 isn't too far to that number and ps4 almost have europe and japan market for its own compare to xbox.  Also add that ps4 won't have the same fierce competition that ps3 had last gen.

Edit: I don't think the next xbox will reach 45m in US because neither 360 or Wii got there and both relied on the casuals to sell huge on US.  Next xbox will need a miracle to have something like kinect next gen.
