Xbox has ruined its own image this generation, and even head Microsoft officials recognize this in their disinterest in Xbox. PS2 outsold GC 7 to 1, yes. Wii, despite being a "phenomenon" did not reach PS2 sales, nor did it even hit a 2 to 1 sales ratio with PS3. Heck, Wii didn't even manage 50% marketshare. Could Xbox win a generation like Nintendo pulled it off in gen 7? Yes. But it's also possible for a super flare from the sun to hit Earth and wipe out all life. So yes, but not likely. |
