Far from OP people just aren't reacting properly to it, rollers have to close in on their target so a splatershot while backing off and returning fire counters them quite hard. At the moment players are running around like kids in a playground in the game but when you start looking below the surface and analyzing things start to pick up and you start catching other players out.
You also start adjusting mentally to how you should react to certain weapon sets as well as start reading the habits of players who use them.
