Mario 3D world and Smash were released on Holidays, of course they boosted more. Wii Party is the 2 best selling WiiU game on Japan. Dragon Quest is one of the biggest franchises on japan, and it made even less than XCX (21k). Pikmin is the strange case here, but is way more popular on Japan than Xeno.
Anyway I´m not talking about a huge surprise, I´m saying that it was a good boost all things considered, one of the best non-holidays boost the wiiu has ever had.
