Why is Voice Chat and Party on Xbox one worst than Xbox 360?

You would think that it would work right from the start at the 3rd iteration. You can always use your 360 to chat while playing on the XBox One ;)

We had echos over the headset, turned out we got a deffective headset from Microsoft. Got it exchange and it work fine after.

I bought a second headset which had the same problems. I never bothered to exchange it though. The same headset worked fine later on, so it must have been in the software unless it magically repaired itself.
I cancelled live when it ran out as I kept having connection problems, plus when it did work online multiplayer wasn't even very enjoyable.
I still gave it a try on free live weekends and all the problems were fixed eventually. My rare online gaming habits had switched to the ps3 however.
