Tongue in cheek remark at the idea it was a film for comic fans. Sure it is comic characters and 'for fans' but it's not the same as having the actual creator of Ultron in it and the son and daugter of Magneto acknowledge their heritage.
But knowing recent developments at Marvel... they don't care about fans anyway.
