I think you all should know that RE0 actually lost money. It was a hit, sold 1.28 million, but Capcom spent so much on development, they needed to sell 1.5 to make a profit.
That could likely be the reason this is being ported.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
