Why do other examples matter? Your reasoning says that Galaxy sold more than 3DW because it's better. You compare 3DW with sales of MK8 and SSB4 (on two different platforms) to somehow prove more people were willing to buy Galaxy over 3DWorld. Yet MKWii outsold Galaxy 3:1.

You also ignored SMG2 which "only" sold around 7 million copies. And lastly, 3DWorld isn't done selling yet, SMG2 is.

MKWii outselling 3:1 to SMG didn't matter as the game sold enough good for a 3DMario. 12.5M and move consoles. 3DWorld hasn't sold enough for a 3DMario game and didn't move consoles. Now, it's common sense that all those examples posted before are more noteworthy for this discussion as already was proved to you that 3DMario's can sell on par with Smash and MK's games, which was an excuse for the subpar performance of 3Dworld.

Now, SMG DLC selling 7M was never mentioned as I don't care about that game. In fact, it sold less than the first one because the game was not as good as the first one. You have already proved with this argument why 3Dworld didn't move consoles or sold better.
