Compared to my Casio calculator? I agree. Compared to what they could have been? No way.
I mean how can my 2010 PC outperform both? And it was a 600€ PC. (including nonsense like Scythe Mugen cooler, 5 case fans, cable management bequiet PSU and ~80€ NZXT PC case)
I dont understand what all this "horse power" talk is supposed to be... I mean I can also run 1080p60 games on Xbox 360 or a PC from 2000. It just depends on what I am trying to run at 1080p/60. Call of Duty 1 would probably run at 8K/120 on PS4
The only thing I know for sure is that since this console generation was out of date on day1 they will even faster sacrifice FPS to get better looking games. And maybe we will end this gen with sub 900p games running at 25fps.
